You should train like an athlete.

Neurological training is a powerful approach that enhances the connection between the brain and body. Neurological training, or brain-based training, helps to improve overall coordination, posture, muscle tone, balance, faster recovery, injury prevention, performance, reaction times and cognitive focus.

This training is not only beneficial for athletes; brain-based training is beneficial for everybody.

People are sidelined by lower back pain, past ACL or rotator cuff tears or those injuries that never healed quite right preventing them from participating in their favorite activities.

This can become very isolating.

Picture this: your friends all play golf (or tennis or go for walks or even go out for an evening!) and they socialize before, during and after. You suffer from "golfer's (or tennis!) elbow" or low back pain that is chronic or comes and goes, or you get dizzy and anxious in social situations.

These types of pain/injury/situations can be solved quickly and, in some cases, prevented altogether, when you learn and apply neurological based skills.

Brain-based training techniques include:
  • Vision Training
    • Vision influences how you stand, how you move, how much pain you experience, your athletic performance, and in some cases how much frustration or anxiety you feel day-to-day. The fact is that your vision impacts every aspect of your life and IMPROVING IT can create massive shifts for you in areas of your life that may seem far removed from just “seeing better.”
  • Balance, Vestibular & Proprioception Drills
    • These drills focus on improving the body’s ability to sense its position in space, helping to maintain better balance and control in ever changing environments.
    • Exercises like single-leg balance, performing movements while balancing or with eyes closed can sharpen coordination and stability.
  • Reaction Time & Cognitive Agility
    • Drills designed to improve reaction time, such as using light-up pads or auditory cues, can help improve reaction to changes in the environment. These drills sharpen both cognitive and motor responses and encourage fall prevention.
  • Dual-Task Training
    • Combining physical movement with cognitive challenges is a powerful way to train both the body and brain simultaneously.
    • Use of brain-training tools to improve cognitive function, attention, focus, reaction time, and decision-making skills.
  • Speed and Agility Training
    • While physical speed and agility are crucial in sports, improving the neural pathways that govern motor control and muscle activation can make an everyone more fluid in their movements.
  • Motor Learning & Neuroplasticity Exercises
    • Repetitive skill drills with variations can help enhance muscle memory and motor patterns. The more practice, the more ingrained it becomes in our neural pathways, improving efficiency and performance over time.
    • Progressive skill challenges can also help "rewire" the brain to perform tasks with less effort and more precision.

Professional athletes and organizations have used this type of training for decades. This technique is effective in sports where multitasking and making quick decisions are essential

Imagine how brain-based training could help improve your quality of life.

Train smarter.
